Hester General Store will attempt to set a new world record for the greatest number of Pi on pies.
The business at 1735 Hester Road in Easley will assemble 400 mini pies with the 400 digits of Pi on March 14.
Pi is defined as the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. It is an irrational number, and its decimal representation never ends, nor does it fall into a repetitive pattern.
