The Upcountry History Museum welcomed “Through The Years: Kenny Rogers’ Photographs of America” on March 4.
This exhibit gives visitors a glimpse into the singer’s photography hobby, which he started at age 27 and continued to develop after meeting and working with photographers such as John Sexton, a former assistant to the pioneering landscape photographer Ansel Adams, along with portrait photographer Yousuf Karsh

“Through The Years: Kenny Rogers’ Photographs of America” was organized by the late singer’s estate and features 60 color and black and white photographs of America, its celebrities and its working people.
The exhibition also includes some artifacts from Rogers’ performances at Clemson University’s Littlejohn Coliseum, as well as photos of his 2014 performance in Greenville by tour photographer Randy Dorman.
“Through The Years: Kenny Rogers’ Photographs of America” will be on display through June 18. The Upcountry History Museum is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesdays-Saturdays and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Sundays.
