The Center for Developmental Services, an Upstate multidisciplinary treatment facility for children with disabilities and developmental delays, is the beneficiary of a matching gift challenge that will be held throughout February, the organization announced Jan. 30.
Retired Prisma Health Children’s Hospital Medical Director and CDS Board of Director Emeritus member and Founding Leader Dr. Bill Schmidt and his wife, Jean, have pledged to match any donations the facility receives, up to a total of $15,000.
“We are grateful to Dr. and Mrs. Schmidt for this incredible gift,” said CDS Executive Director Dana McConnell. “This match will challenge our community to show your love for CDS.”
To participate in the challenge, visit cdservices.org. Gifts may also be mailed to CDS at 29 N. Academy St., Greenville, SC 29601.
