The Burrow, a restaurant on Augusta Street in Greenville, permanently closed its doors on Aug. 3.
The closure comes after staffing shortages, said a post on The Burrow’s social media.
“It is with a very heavy heart that tonight will be our last night in the neighborhood,” said the social media post. “Opening six months before the pandemic was hard enough, but with the insanity of the national staff shortage currently taking place and the pressure that is putting on all restaurants, it makes more sense to cut our losses and try to focus on our two original restaurants and try to keep what staff we have employed in our company. We have thoroughly enjoyed our three years in the neighborhood and hope to continue to see all your faces at Barley’s and The Trappe Door.”
