Over the years, Spinx has has garnered a following for fried chicken at its convenience stories since it began serving in 1986.
Now it’s adding some extra flavor and smaller bites.
On April 1, Spinx started selling chicken nuggets along with Duke’s Spinx Sauce developed in partnership with Duke’s Mayonnaise. Both the fuel brand and condiment brand were born in Greenville. The collaboration was serendipity and the timing was right.

“We’re excited to offer our customers a new way to enjoy Spinx legendary fried chicken with our own unique signature sauce and legendary chicken nuggets,” Spinx CEO Steve Spinks said in a statement. “When we set out to develop a sauce, it was only appropriate to work with another iconic, local brand like Duke’s to bring this sauce to life. And when launching a new sauce, it felt like the right time to add a new chicken option, as well.”
The sauce is mayonnaise-based and made with ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and garlic. The chicken nuggets will come in quantities of four, eight, 12 and 20.
Legendary Chicken Nuggets and Spinx Sauce will be available at all Spinx locations where its fried chicken is served, including downtown bodega Spinx Market & Eatery.
