Thrive Upstate, a nonprofit that provides support for people with developmental disabilities in Greenville County, has partnered with DRUM Percussion Studio, a music school in Greenville, to host a Drumming Up Awareness event at the Peace Center Plaza on March 17 in downtown Greenville.
Beginning at noon, the hour-long event, which will feature a performance by the music school’s drumABILITY ensemble, is designed to promote a culture of inclusion for individuals with disabilities and special needs, said Thrive Upstate in a press release.
Drumming Up Awareness is free and open to the public.
