The Barabara Stone Foundation, an organization focused on supporting programs and initiatives for individuals with disabilities, will hold Barbara’s 90th Birthday Bash, a special fundraising event honoring the late Barbara Stone, on March 4 at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral’s Theodore Hellenic Center in Greenville.
“Barbara Stone was an instrumental leader when it came to the services and rights of people with disabilities,” said Barbara Stone Foundation Executive Director Lara Ceisel. “Her decades-long mission made a profound impact on the quality of life for many people with disabilities so we are excited to celebrate Barbara, who would have turned 90 years old. We are thankful for Steve Byas, Michelle Dodge and Nick Skenteris who are hosting this fun party to celebrate the legacy Barbara left in Greenville.”
The event at 402 N. Academy St. will kick off at 7 p.m. and will feature:
- Open bar
- Heavy appetizers
- Live auction
- Live music from Trey Francis & More
Tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple. All proceeds raised from the event will be used to support programs and initiatives such as Greenville CAN, a coalition of self-advocates, service providers, families, caregivers and professionals committed to making Greenville a better place to live for individuals with disabilities.
