The Greenville Journal received a tour of the new Reedy Laurel Elementary School on Aug. 7 before school starts next week with Board of Trustees of Greenville County Schools.
The two-story, 119,000-square-foot facility was built on the former site of J.L. Mann High Academy at 61 Isbell Lane in Greenville. The school will accommodate up to 750 students.
The school will offer a specialized environmental science program with hands-on exploration for students.
Principal Matthew Critel was the tour guide.
