Borderlands Comics and Games has opened in its new location.
The Greenville comic book store announced on its social media it was closing its doors at 1434 Laurens Road on Nov. 3 at 10 p.m. and planned to reopen in its new storefront 410 S. Pleasantburg Drive on Nov. 6 or Nov. 7.
Borderlands, which opened in 1988 as a Heroes comic book store, has changed ownership twice, said owner Rob Young, who took over the store on Jan. 1, 2011.
A grand opening at its new 16,000-square-foot store is scheduled for Nov. 12 with a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m.
