Mission Statement
The Peace Center enriches the lives of everyone we reach through the performing arts. Founded in 1990, the nationally acclaimed nonprofit serves as the cultural heart of the Upstate on a six-acre campus in downtown Greenville. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Peace Center engages the community through performances, education programs and outreach initiatives that expand access to the arts. Guided by a vision to unite people and transform lives through inspiring artistic experiences, the Peace Center fosters connection and creativity throughout the region.
Impact
The Peace Center presents over 400 performances and events annually for 350,000 patrons. Its campus includes five music venues, two of which opened earlier this year. It generates a $90 million annual statewide economic impact and has played a vital role in transforming Greenville into a thriving cultural hub.
Giving Opportunities
Support the Peace Center by becoming a donor and joining a community dedicated to artistic excellence. Philanthropic contributions help bring world-class performances to the Upstate and expand access to arts education while strengthening creativity, well-being and quality of life.
