Mission Statement
Gene Xcellence empowers teens and young adults to explore their strengths, prepare for college and careers, build financial confidence, and develop the resilience needed to thrive in adulthood. Through intentional programming and personalized support, we help young people identify their dream careers and pursue economic mobility. We envision an Upstate where every young person has the tools, confidence and support to bridge the opportunity and achievement gap.
Impact
In the 2025-2026 school year, Gene Xcellence served roughly 600 students through our career labs and traveling RISING Workshops, delivering high‑impact career and life‑skills education.
