The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville will host its inaugural Lifestyle Medicine Research Symposium Sept. 25 on its campus.
The free event at 607 Grove Road will focus on how lifestyle behaviors impact chronic diseases such as coronary artery disease, type 2 diabetes, strokes and colon cancer.
The symposium runs from 12:30 to 6 p.m. and includes lunch and networking, a panel discussion, a lecture and a reception.
