Two Greenville Technical Charter High School students recently received Triple Tree Aerodrome’s 2025 Spring ACE Scholarships.
Thomas Wilke, a senior, won a $1,500 scholarship that will go toward his tailwind endorsement training. Last year, Wilke earned his pilot license with the support of a Triple Tree Aerodrome ACE Scholarship. He will also be attending to the Charleston Southern University professional flight program next year.
A $2,500 general aviation scholarship was awarded to Dino Barontini, a GTCH junior. The scholarship will go towards his pilot license training.

GTCHS offers an aviation program for students that uses the Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association curriculum with three career pathways: pilot, aerospace engineer and aircraft maintenance. Triple Tree Aerodrome has awarded six scholarships to GTCHS students – more than any other school.
