After over two years of construction, Hotel Hartness, a 73-suite hotel in Greenville, will open its doors at 3 p.m. on March 15.
The hotel at 120 Halston Ave. will feature a spa and two on-site dining venues, The Captain and Patterson Kitchen + Bar.
The Captain, a reclaimed barnwood-clad bar, will also open on March 15 and will offer a variety of wines and light bites.
The bar will be open from noon to midnight, Monday through Sunday.
Hotel Hartness’s dining options will expand when Patterson Kitchen + Bar opens on March 22.
Situated in the hotel’s courtyard, the restaurant will serve food influenced by southern and international flavors. Its menu will include:
- Tasting of Farm Beets – whipped feta, sunflower seeds, house crisps, young lettuces and meyer lemon vinaigrette
- Crab Stuffed Ahi Tuna – yuzu mayo, shaved farm veggies, finger lime and rice crisp
- Patterson Burger – Braveheart Angus beef, gruyere, farm arugula, red onion jam, house made bun and house made fries
- Carolina Cioppino – charred tomato bisque, Old Bay poached shrimp, mussels, clams, swordfish and toast points
- Duck Cavatelli – duck confit, house made pasta, seasonal mushrooms, caramelized fennel, farm arugula and shaved gruyere
- Matcha Semifreddo – caramelized white chocolate namelaka, raspberry gel and lemon olive oil cake
- Warm Sticky Toffee Cake – orange curd, cardamom creme anglaise, candied ginger and rum flambe
Patterson Kitchen + Bar is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is also open for Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
