Running from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and presented by the The Korea Center of Greenville, the event will allow attendees to get a taste of Korea through children’s games and games of chance such as yut, and other activities, including:
- Traditional calligraphy
- Live K-pop music
- Taekwondo demonstration
- Kimchi cooking demonstration and sale
- Fan dance
- Korean costume fashion show
- Korean wedding demonstration
“We have a variety of different performances, activities for all age groups as well as some presentations from other nonprofits and groups affiliated with Korean culture and Korea in general,” said Elizabeth Taggart, director of communications with The Korea Center of Greenville. “You can expect a wide range of Korean cultural art, music, food, history and costumes as well as the current culture that is popular throughout the world, which is K-pop.”
