Greenville-based Fostering Great Ideas will host The Luminary Gala on Oct. 23.
The 16th annual gala will raise funds for the nonprofit organization’s mission to support children and teens in foster care. Donors, volunteers, community leaders and supporters of Fostering Great Ideas are invited to attend the upcoming gala at The 405 in downtown Greenville.
David White, CEO of Fostering Great Ideas, said The Luminary Gala is an opportunity for the community to come together, invest in hope and help create brighter futures for children and families impacted by foster care.
“At Fostering Great Ideas, we believe meaningful relationships have the power to change lives,” White said. “Every child deserves to know they are seen, valued, and supported, and every family deserves a community that walks alongside them.”
In 2025, more than 320 guests attended The Luminary Gala, raising $296,000 for the nonprofit organization. The funding supported Foster Great Ideas’s programs which serve more than 700 children and youth.
