The Barbara Stone Foundation, a nonprofit focused on supporting programs for individuals with disabilities, will host its CAN Talks program at Centre Stage in downtown Greenville on Oct. 24.
Kicking off at 7 p.m., the event will feature five Upstate individuals with disabilities who will discuss their stories and insights.

“The first-ever ‘CAN Talks’ event held was in 2019, and we are excited about our 2023 speakers who will highlight self-advocacy, broaden perspectives about disabilities and promote the importance of inclusion,” said Lara Ceisel, executive director of the Barbara Stone Foundation. “We have a powerful lineup of speakers living with disabilities and passionate about breaking down barriers rooted in false assumptions.”
The program will also feature a performance by Carolina Dance Collaborative, an inclusive dance group.
Admission is $10 to attend virtually and $20 to attend in person. For more information, visit GVLCANtalks.org.
