Loaves & Fishes’ annual benefit concert, Rock Out Hunger, returns in October.
The annual fundraising event will be held at Oct. 3, 7 p.m., at Radio Room, located at 28 Liberty Lane in Greenville. This year’s concert will feature live performances by The Ordinary Boys, a tribute band celebrating the music of The Smiths and Morrissey.
Rock Out Hunger raises funding to support Loaves & Fishes’ mission to reduce food insecurity in Greenville County. The local nonprofit organization rescues surplus food to redistribute to more than 125 agencies helping those in need. These partner agencies include homeless shelters, food pantries, low-income housing communities, veteran centers and more.
“Rock Out Hunger is more than a concert. It’s an opportunity for our community to come together and make a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of our neighbors who are experiencing food insecurity,” said Tessa May, executive director of Loaves & Fishes.
Tickets to Loaves & Fishes’ Rock Out Hunger concert are available to purchase online for $20. Attendees can also get tickets for $25 at the door. For more information, visit werescuefood.org/rock-out-hunger.
