Mission Statement

A Child’s Haven treats children with developmental delays as a result of limited resources, abuse or neglect, and provides support and education for their families. For more than 30 years, ACH has been guided by our vision of children who are thriving in families that nurture their success.

Core services include:
• Therapeutic child care
• Individual therapy
• Family therapy/home visitation

Treatment and child care services are available Monday through Friday year-round to ACH-enrolled families. The ACH team is committed to supporting caregivers who are struggling to balance work, child care and other life stressors.

Impact

Highly trained behavioral health professionals help struggling preschool children in the Greenville area acquire the skills necessary to be successful in school and beyond. All children and families benefitting from our therapeutic child care services are suffering from either an expulsion from mainstream child care, a past or ongoing trauma experience, a critical lack of resources or a combination of these difficulties. They also demonstrate a clinical need for our services.

We offer the life-changing, two-generational therapeutic services they need to thrive.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is vital to ACH and provides a special experience for those who participate in the transformation of a child and his or her family; in the process, volunteers’ lives are transformed as well. Opportunities include working directly with young children or helping around the center, with some opportunities available online.
