The Debutante Club of Greenville will present 12 young women at its 67th Annual Ball at the Poinsett Club on Dec. 28, 2023.
Sophie Scott Anderson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott McFadyen Anderson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Goudelock Miller of Greenville, and the late Mrs. James William Anderson, formerly of Charlotte, North Carolina, and the late Mr. Anderson, formerly of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Miss Anderson is a student at the University of South Carolina.
Caroline Olivia Avinger is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mauldin Avinger. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Snowden Wilson Buxton of Greenville and the late Mr. Buxton, formerly of Union, and Mr. and Mrs. Adonis Norman Avinger of Anderson. Miss Avinger is a student at Clemson University.
Kyra Ann Cassell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Frank Cassell. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas James Feldman of Greenville and the late Mr. Feldman, and Mrs. Alan Cassell of Shelburne, Vermont, and the late Mr. Cassell. Miss Cassell is a student at the University of Alabama.
Louise Buxton Cassels is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Warren Cassels. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Snowden Wilson Buxton of Greenville and the late Mr. Buxton, formerly of Union, and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Donald Cassels of Greenville. Miss Cassels is a student at the University of South Carolina.
Parker Elizabeth Chastain is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bradley Chastain. She is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Shirley McNeely Cannon, formerly of Morganton, North Carolina, and Mr. Harold Eugene Cannon of Lenoir, North Carolina, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Larry Chastain of Greenville. Miss Chastain is a student at Wake Forest University.
Eliza Ambrose Easterby is the daughter of Mrs. Allison Gulledge Easterby and Mr. Capers Adams Easterby. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carl Oliver Gulledge of Sumter and the late Mr. Gulledge, and Mrs. Clarence Medlin Easley of Greenville and the late Mr. Ambrose Henry Easterby, junior, formerly of Greenville. Miss Easterby is a student at Clemson University.

Eleanor Louise Kneeland is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Bryan Kneeland. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Perry Earle III of Fountain Inn, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Durward Kneeland III of Nashville, Tennessee. Miss Kneeland is a student at Clemson University.
Analiese Blakely Mirando is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Anthony Mirando III. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Paul Kenneth Rogers of Anderson and the late Mr. Rogers, and Mrs. Pamela Peck Blakely of Greenville and the late Mr. Robert Paul Mirando, formerly of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Miss Mirando is a student at the University of South Carolina.
Elizabeth Carlisle Poole is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Bynum Poole. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Orin Dameron Wood, junior, of Mobile, Alabama and the late Mrs. Wood, and Mrs. Martha Weeks Hale of Landrum and Mr. David Clyde Poole of Greenville. Miss Poole is a student at Clemson University.
Lucy Barbara Smith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Shaler Smith. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Mabry Cunningham of Dadeville, Alabama, and Mrs. Charles Howard Smith II of Greenville and the late Mr. Smith. Miss Smith is a student at the University of Georgia.
Murray McCuen Thompson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Baldwin Thompson III. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McCuen Cheves of Greenville and the late Mrs. Cheves, formerly of Columbia, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Baldwin Thompson II of Greenville. Miss Thompson is a student at Wofford College.
Officers of The Debutante Club of Greenville are Mrs. Lynwood Breeden Hollis, junior, president; Mrs. Jack Eric Hinsdale, vice-president/ president elect; Mrs. Thomas Martin Fridy, secretary; Mrs. Andrew Gibson McDonald, assistant secretary; Mrs. Edward Perry Heidtman, treasurer; and Mrs. Edmond Brent Williams, assistant treasurer.
