The city of Travelers Rest has announced the launch of T.R.am, a free shuttle service.
The shuttle will run on Thursdays and Fridays from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 12:30 to 6 p.m. and take riders from Main Street to Center Street, Poinsett Highway and McElhaney Road.
In addition, the shuttle, which is privately-owned by Mike Putman of Putman Travel, is fully solar-powered. The T.R.am also has a Google map, which features its route and links to shops and restaurants.
