Upstate Warrior Solution, a nonprofit serving Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties, hosted its 2nd Annual Operation Christmas Blessing at the Elks Lodge #858 in Greenville Dec. 18.
During the event, more than 30 veteran families in need picked up items such as:
- Personalized gifts
- Food boxes
- Stocking stuffers
- School supplies
All items were provided by a variety of sponsors and organizations, including:
- The SC National Guard and Reserves
- The Elks Lodge
- Daughters of the American Revolution
- TD Bank
- Young Republicans of SC
- Upstate Veterans Business Network
- Crescent Hospice
- Higher Ground Hikers
- Medals of America
- EuroKera
“At Upstate Warrior Solution, it’s our honor to provide support to our warriors and their families throughout the year,” said Upstate Warrior Solution community engagement manager Catherine Pelicano. “We are so grateful for our partners who join us in this effort, especially around the holidays.”
The event also featured live performances by the Greenville Fine Arts Center and photos with Santa.
