What if the confluence of the Reedy River and Richland Creek became the heart of Cleveland Park, a place that has a naturally graded amphitheater, swings, and overlooks? What if Cleveland Park Drive was realigned and became the park’s main thoroughfare? What about a mountain bike skills course, river overlooks or a whimsical playground? Those are some of the ideas included in three concepts presented by local landscape architecture and urban design firm MKSK to members of the city’s Cleveland Park advisory committee.
Approaching hurricane postpones meetings about future of Greenville’s downtown
Those with opinions on the direction downtown Greenville should take in the future will have to wait to share their ideas. Two meetings scheduled this week to gather public input for Greenville’s new downtown master plan are being postponed because of the approaching Hurricane Florence.
