Willie Adkins Jr. of West Virginia won the TNT Fireworks B.A.S.S. Nation Southeast Regional, which was held April 28-30 at Lake Hartwell.
“I’ll never ask for anything else. I don’t care if I ever make the Classic, this right here tops everything for me,” said Adkins. “I probably won’t do it again and I’m going to eat it up.”
Adkins completed the tournament with a three-day catch of 34 pounds, 13 ounces. As the event winner, he was awarded a $5,000 prize and a spot in the 2021 TNT Fireworks B.A.S.S. Nation Championship, which will be held Nov. 3-5 on the Ouachita River in Monroe, Louisiana.
While Adkins won the event, the top finishers on the boater and co-angler side from each state earned a spot in the 2021 TNT Fireworks B.A.S.S. Nation Championship.
