The 2021 Professional Bull Riders Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour will ride its way into the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville Jan. 22-23.
This two-day event is the second stop on a 20-city tour including Pensacola, Florida, Memphis, Tennessee and Reno, Nevada, and will feature around 45 riders.
“There are lots of great PBR fans in Greenville,” said Robert Simpson, general manager of the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour. “The last time the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour was in Greenville was 2018 for a sell-out. The people of this area just love the PBR, and we are thrilled to bring them this exciting event with our industry-leading protocols in place for a safe experience. I know this city is ready for two nights of the best bull riding has to offer.”

At the end of each stop, a winner will be named based on the aggregate score received from their successful eight-second bull rides. Participants are given a score on a zero to 100 scale based on how hard the bull is to ride and how successful the ride is. Anyone bucked off a bull will not receive points for that ride.
The tour will conclude with the 2021 PWVT Finals in Las Vegas, where the champion will receive a gold buckle and an automatic bid to the 2021 PBR World Finals.
Tickets to the Greenville tour stops start at $15 and will be sold in pods consisting of two to six seats to allow for social distancing in the crowd.
