The Greenville Triumph will advance to the United Soccer League (USL) League One Final on Oct. 30 following their win on Oct. 3 against Orlando City B and a 0-0 draw between Forward Madison and FC Tucson in Hart, Wisconsin.
The Triumph is also the first League One team to appear in back-to-back finals.
“Getting to the Final again in our second season is a massive accomplishment,” said Greenville Triumph head coach John Harkes. “We learned quite a bit from making the championship match last year in our inaugural season, and it made us hungry for more. I’m very proud of our club, staff and players, but we also understand there is much more work ahead of us. We know there are no easy games in our league, and we will continue to work hard to clinch hosting the final at home for 2020.”
The League One Final will be broadcast on Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. on ESPN Deportes, ESPN+ and Sirius XM FC.
