On Sunday, April 25, the residents of the Wildaire neighborhood held a “parade of gratitude” in memory of the EF2 tornado that tore through Greenville’s eastside on April 25, 2020. The tornado’s 115 mph winds damaged and destroyed homes and uprooted trees. The parade, complete with decorated golf carts, bikes and wagons, was held not only in memory of that traumatic day but in gratitude for the fact that no one was hurt.
