The 18th annual Alzheimer’s Association Ride to End ALZ took place July 10-12. About 450 cyclists rode 260 miles over three days from Simpsonville to Mount Pleasant. As of July 14, the event has raised more than $1.27 million for the research, care and support efforts of the association. The goal is $1.5 million, according to Beth M. Sulkowski, vice president of communications, Alzheimer’s Association, South Carolina Chapter.
