The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close lanes on Interstate 85 southbound over the Middle Tyger River to complete repairs.
The temporary lane closures will occur near mile marker 64. SCDOT will close the left and center lanes starting in the evening on Sept. 26. The center lane is expected to reopen in the morning of Sept. 27, while the left lane will remain closed until the mid-afternoon.
Drivers are asked to drive slowly and pay attention when traveling near the work zone.
