The public is invited to attend a meeting regarding the South Downtown Greenville Master Plan on Feb. 4 at McMillan Pazdan Smith.
The purpose of the meeting is to create cohesive urban design standards that will help guide future development in the area surrounded by Augusta and Church Streets, which includes the Haynie-Sirrine Neighborhood. This planning effort will also allow for the updates to the 2002 Haynie-Sirrine Neighborhood Master Plan.
Attendees will have the opportunity to comment following a presentation from the project consultants, Urban Design Associates.
The city of Greenville will hold a second meeting in March and create a draft plan in April. The new South Downtown Master Plan will be reviewed by Greenville city council in June.
