Stacey D. Mills has been named executive director of the University of South Carolina Upstate’s Greenville campuses.

USC Upstate has operations at the University Center Greenville in the old McAlister Square on South Pleasantburg Drive and a downtown office at 501 River St. Mills will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of programs and services at the two locations to ensure continued growth of USC Upstate operations in Greenville, according to a press release.

“We look forward to Stacey building on the positive initiatives and foundation that he has already established over the last several months in Greenville,” said Dr. Clif Flynn, interim senior vice chancellor for academic affairs.

Mills had served as the director of student services on the USC Upstate campus and was the assistant director of student life on the main campus in Spartanburg.

Mills earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from USC Upstate in 1996.
