Seems like every week another national media outlet discovers what makes Greenville a great place to live and visit.
This time it’s Food Republic listing its top 10 can’t-miss restaurants in town, and it’s not just limited to Main Street this go-around. Katie Change of Food Republic writes, “After spending a few days in Greenville this fall, it was a no-brainer why the city is on the radar for travelers with eating well on the mind. (Need proof? Sean Brock’s third location of Husk is to open on Main Street any day now.) And despite its small size, the dining scene here packs a surprisingly diverse punch.”
(Note: Husk isn’t opening any time soon. Sean Brock has been busy launching McCrady’s Tavern in Charleston, and he promises to get back to us as soon as the Greenville outpost of his award-winning Southern-only restaurant opens.)
Restaurants that made the list are:
Henry’s Smokehouse, 240 Wade Hampton Blvd.
Mekong Restaurant, 2013 Wade Hampton Blvd.
Soby’s New South Cuisine, 207 S. Main St.
Bacon Bros. Public House, 3620 Pelham Road
