Bon Secours St. Francis held a topping-off ceremony June 28 at its new Simpsonville medical campus near I-385.
During the event, a small group of hospital staff gathered to watch as the final beam was placed on top of the health system’s two-story 41,450-square-foot comprehensive health care center.
Health care workers were also given the chance to sign the beam ahead of the special event.
The $39 million project will feature a freestanding emergency department, retail pharmacy, x-ray and ultrasound. It will also offer clinical office space for services such as:
- Women’s health
- Orthopedics
- Cardiology
- Behavioral health
- Primary care
The new medical campus is expected to be complete by spring 2022.
