The Citadel announced Aug. 4 it has reached a transfer agreement with Greenville Technical College.
The agreement, which became effective July 1, will allow GTC engineering students to transfer to the military college to complete a four-year undergraduate engineering degree.
The majors include:
- Civil and environmental engineering
- Computer engineering
- Construction engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Mechanical engineering
“Greenville Tech is happy to expand the opportunities for our engineering graduates,” said Mark Hapstack, mechanical engineering department head for Greenville Technical College. “It is exciting to us to have The Citadel as a resource for our Engineering Transfer graduates wanting to pursue a bachelor of science in engineering.”
GTC students seeking to transfer from to The Citadel would go through the university’s Graduate College, which offers non-cadet, evening or online programs.
