The Greenville Tech Foundation has received a $31,980 grant from the Bosch Community Fund.
The funding will support equipment and resources used for advanced manufacturing education at Greenville Technical College. Gina Blohm, executive director of Greenville Tech Foundation, said support from collaborators like the Bosch Community Fund helps ensure students gain experience using tools in today’s manufacturing industry.
“These hands-on opportunities help prepare students to enter the workforce with the skills employers need,” Blohm said.
Greenville Technical College helps develop a pipeline of skilled workers for the Upstate’s manufacturing industry. The grant from the Bosch Community Fund reflects the foundation’s commitment to supporting workforce development in communities where its employees live and work.
