Bob Jones University announced its in-person second semester classes will start Jan. 13, 2021, and students will not receive a traditional spring break during the term.
Instead of giving the students one week off, the college plans to provide five days of rest throughout the 2021 semester. In addition, BJU will commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 18 and observe its annual Bible Conference Feb. 16-19.
“I’m thankful for a successful in-person first semester at BJU,” said BJU president Steve Pettit. “I look forward to welcoming students back to campus in January 2021 for in-person classes and what I trust will be a more robust student experience as we continue to deal with the effects of the COVID-19 virus.”
The university also announced the Class of 2021 commencement is scheduled for May 7, 2021.
