The city of Greenville Board of Zoning Appeals will review an application submitted by the highly anticipated Spinx Market & Eatery during its scheduled meeting on June 13.
The upcoming market will be located at 659 Main St. in Greenville’s West End. The board will hear its application for a special exception permit which, if approved, would allow the business to operate after midnight.
The application noted that the market intends to hold business between the hours of 5 a.m. and 2 a.m.
Spinx has been stirring up excitment for this location since March 2023 when plans to take over the former Cook’s Station location were announced. The spot was formerly a gas station, and the business plans to utilize its nostalgic footprint in upfitting the space with retro renovations. Renderings for the structure’s pending facelift were released last summer.
