The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close a lane on the Interstate 26 westbound bridge over Lake Bowen for rehabilitation work.
The lane closure will begin at 7 a.m. on Sept. 25. The bridge will fully reopen early on Sept. 26, pending any weather delays.
Drivers are encouraged to drive slowly and pay attention when traveling in the bridge’s westbound left lane while repairs are underway.
