Family education service provider World Explorers Group held a ribbon-cutting March 11 for its primary Greenville location in the Liberty Building at 135 S. Main St., Suites 100 and 101A.
The business’s Greenville Explorers program is targeted for families with children up to age 11. World Explorers also provides activities and internship opportunities for middle and high school-aged children.
“Greenville Explorers is excited for its new home at The Liberty Building, and we look forward to becoming a bedrock both for local families and for families visiting the Upstate area,” said co-founder Kisha Edwards-Gandsy. “We are excited to share our My Caregiver & Me classes, Explorers Adventure Camp and Globetrotters after-school programs with local Explorers, and to also share our family-friendly tours, excursions and day trips with visiting families.”

World Explorers will continue operating in the Children’s Museum of the Upstate through June 4, where the business has offered its Greenville Explorers program since August 2020.
Once fully in the new space, the World Explorers plans to expand its programming to include drop-off childcare pajama parties, special topic seminars, child and family-focused day excursions, and holiday spectaculars.
World Explorers Group is comprised of the Brooklyn Explorers in New York City and Greenville Explorers. The education services provider also plans to announce a potential expansion in downtown Easley sometime in 2021.
