Village Engage, a nonprofit under the umbrella of Mill Village Ministries, will host its inaugural Faith & Justice Forum Nov. 8 at the Peace Center.
Kicking off at 9:30 a.m., the event will allow participants to learn more about the financial struggles some Upstate individuals are facing and resources offered by business, faith and community organizations.

The symposium will feature music by songwriter, activist and music therapist Kyshona Armstrong and a speech by Whitney Barkley-Denney of the Center for Responsible Lending. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers at panel discussions, including:

“This is an event that will hopefully open our hearts and minds to the possibility of a community where all people can thrive,” said Village Engage representative Alecia Brewster.
