United Ministries has announced Bryan Stevenson, founder of the Equal Justice Initiative, as the keynote speaker for its fifth annual Uniting for Change Luncheon.

The luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. April 22, 2020, at the Greenville Convention Center. With this luncheon, United Ministries will be celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The event aims to start a conversation about poverty and charity in Greenville. 

Stevenson is the author of the New York Times bestseller “Just Mercy” and an acclaimed public interest lawyer. He has worked to initiate anti-discrimination efforts that challenge inequality in the United States.

Tickets will go on sale in January and will be available on United Ministries’ website.
