The TD Essential Market presented by Prisma Health announced it will extend its regular season through Nov. 21. The market has been held each Saturday since June 6 on Main Street in Greenville.
Since this year’s opening, the market has featured a modified format offering grocery items including seasonal produce, artisan cheeses, certified organic meats and baked goods, while ensuring shoppers and vendors follow safety guidelines such as maintaining physical distancing and wearing face coverings.
“TD Bank is excited about the extension of this year’s TD Essential Market,” said Bruce Benson, TD Bank’s retail market manager. “We understand the tremendous impact this year is having on the farmers and vendors, so we are thrilled to be able to continue to show our support and gratitude for all of their hard work.”
Event organizers have also planned three Holiday Edition markets on Nov. 28, Dec. 5 and Dec. 12, and will feature seasonal produce, honey, fresh pressed juices, pasta and salsa as well as festive handmade crafts and holiday baskets.
Each week, a limited number of shoppers may enter and exit the market on McBee Avenue in Greenville. Attendees may park for free in the lot next to Grill Marks.
