“Happy Christmas Shirley”
“Happy Christmas Shirley” is the story of a Christmas that many can relate to. It’s Christmas Eve, and from the outside of Shirley’s home, everything looks picture perfect. On the inside, Shirley is determined to have the perfect Christmas Day despite the growing chaos around her. Because just like in almost any family, there is the potential for a lot to go wrong, from Shirley’s grumpy grandmother, to a pregnant daughter close to giving birth, to an unexpected stranger joining in for Christmas dinner. “Happy Christmas Shirley” is a humorous exploration of the familiar holiday dysfunction that we all know and love. –Sara Pearce
