The Spinx Company, a fuel and convenience store chain headquartered in Greenville, donated $325,250 to the American Cancer Society. The funds were raised during the company’s annual campaign in October.
“As a cancer survivor myself, I know the importance of the work that the American Cancer Society accomplishes each and every day,” said Stewart Spinks, founder of the Spinx Company. “For the 12th year in a row, The Spinx Company is honored to support their mission and its efforts in education, treatment and research to discover more successful treatments, and ultimately a cure for cancer. I am so proud of our team’s efforts and know that our local communities will benefit greatly from their hard work and the generosity of so many of our customers.”
All 84 Spinx stores throughout South Carolina participated in the campaign and collected donations for the American Cancer Society.
