The South Carolina Department of Transportation is working on patching a portion of U.S. 276, which runs from north of the Slater-Marietta area to White Horse Road Extension, as part of its resurfacing project for the highway.
The road patching portion of the project is expected to be completed by late spring 2023 and will be followed by a new asphalt surface application, which should be in place by the end of summer 2023, said SCDOT in a press release.
SCDOT started its U.S. 276 resurfacing project in fall 2022.
