The South Carolina Academy of Authors will induct four Greenville writers at an awards dinner and ceremony on April 9 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Furman University’s Younts Center.
The 2021 inductees, who will join 93 other academy members, include:
- Tommy Hays
- Glenis Redmond
- George Brown Tindall (posthumous)
- Ashley Warlick
Ahead of the induction, Hays, Redmond and Warlick will read their works at a free event on April 8 from 5:30-7 p.m. at M. Judson Booksellers at 130 E. Main St. in Greenville.
Tickets for the awards dinner are $55 per person, $100 per couple and $300 per table of six, while tickets for the Sunday brunch are $18 each.
