Some voters heading to the polls for the Republican and Democratic primary runoff election on June 28 will see a change in their polling place.
Throughout the county, three polling places will temporarily switch locations due to church conflicts with the facilities:
- Feaster – Rolling Green Retirement Center, 1 Hoke Smith Blvd.
- Furman – Enoree Career Center, 108 Scalybark Road.
- Simpsonville 1 – Simpsonville United Methodist Church, 215 S.E. Main St.
“Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and voters who voted on June 14, may only vote in the runoff of the political party chosen on June 14,” said Greenville County Elections Director Conway Belangia. “Voters who did not participate on June 14 may participate on June 28 and may chose a political party primary to vote on that day.”
Candidates on the ballot include:
- Catherine Fleming Bruce
- Krystle Matthews
South Carolina Superintendent of Education
- Gary L Burgess
- Lisa Ellis
- Wendell Jones
- Derrick L. Quarles
S.C. Superintendent of Education
- Kathy Maness
