Approved: Annexation of property for future proposed subdivision
City Council approved a request to annex a 1.706-acre property on Henderson Gap Road in Greenville County. The parcel will be combined with several other properties within the city limits for a future proposed subdivision.
Approved: Rezoning of land on Lister Road
City Council approved the rezoning of a parcel located on Lister Road from single-family residential to industrial. This property will be combined with Clarius Industrial Park for future expansion.
Approved: Purchase of self-contained breathing apparatus for Fire Department
City Council approved a request to purchase self-contained breathing apparatus for the Fire Department for $194,647.80 from Rhinehart Fire Services.
The funding for the equipment comes from a $177,540 FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant and 10% match from the city of Greer totaling $17,754.
