The city of Greenville will complete infrastructure improvements along Mayberry Street over the next two months.
Crews will start construction on the roadway next to Unity Park the week of Sept. 21. The project will repair the street’s sidewalks, install a new concrete median, add a pedestrian crosswalk and upgrade the parking area off Mayberry Street.
According to the city, work is expected to take approximately two months to complete. Lane closures will occur during construction. The city does not anticipate the project will cause major traffic disruptions. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to be careful around the work area and follow posted signs.
