Greenville, South Carolina was named as the No. 6 Best Small City in the United States in the 2020 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.
Each year, Condé Nast Traveler readers cast more than 715,000 votes rating their travel experiences across the globe and with this announcement, Greenville has been named to the Readers’ Choice Awards four times.
“One of Greenville’s greatest strengths is its natural beauty, walkability and urban greenspace,” said Greenville Mayor Knox White. “People are ready to safely be outside. A bike ride along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a stroll through Falls Parks and outdoor dining along Main Street are just what the doctor ordered. Greenville is ready to welcome new and repeat visitors. Our place on this prestigious list will hasten our economic recovery.”
Joining Greenville as the only other South Carolina city on the list is Charleston, which ranked number one. To see the complete list of 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards, visit condenasttraveler.com/rca.
